I thought it might be fun to publish the animatic I made before creating Tally Hall’s video for “Turn The Lights Off”. This was helpful for planning and for making sure the band was happy with the concept. Plus now you can see all the corners I ended up cutting!

The nerd penguin is my friend Calvin, and the poor, winter-stranded penguin is Justin, who does lefthandedtoons with me.

SPOILER: One of the endings features an appearance by a character from a game I made.

Today was the annual Halloween Dog Parade at Tompkins Square Park in New York. We brought our dog, Rosco. He was a superdog. It was ridiculous.

I’ve wanted to make an animated video for this song for a long time, and I got the opportunity to make it mine back in August. I finally finished it about a week ago, just in time for Halloween.
